TEORÍA DEL COLOR by COLORTECH™ (Spanish access) is a self-paced online color theory program for nail technicians who want to understand color more clearly and recommend it with greater confidence. Created and taught by Michi C. Brink, founder of Fantasy Nails, it connects color theory to the decisions you make at the nail table.

A nude can look perfect in the bottle and turn gray on the hand. A client asks which red you recommend and, suddenly, choosing one feels like guesswork. COLORTECH™ helps you observe color with sharper judgment, understand what you are seeing and explain your recommendations with intention.

We are building a new standard for professional nail color consultation. COLORTECH™ Gel Lacquers use warm and cool references to make the temperature of each shade easier to identify. You can also apply the principles of the program with products from other brands.

Do I need Fantasy Nails products?
No. You can apply the color theory principles with products from any brand.

Will I be certified when I finish the online program?
No. TEORÍA DEL COLOR is a complete program in its own right and does not award a certification. It is also the prerequisite for the COLORTECH™ PRO In-Person Certification: complete the program, submit the required self-assessments and send your application. Your application must be approved before booking.

Is the program only theory?
No. It includes demonstrations that connect color concepts with professional nail work.
